The Executive Committee of the State Bank of India’s central board on Tuesday approved long-term overseas fund raising of up to $3 billion. This fund raising in single / multiple tranches under “Reg-S/144A” will be through a public offer and/or private placement of senior unsecured notes in US dollar or any other major foreign currency during FY 2025-26.

According to the market buzz the promoters of KPR Mill — KP Ramasamy, KPD Sigamani, and P Nataraj — are expected to divest up to 3.2 per cent stake in the company through block deals.. The total offer size is pegged at ₹1,195.6 crore, with a floor price of ₹1,107 per share. This represents a 10 per cent discount to the company’s current market price.

Godrej Enterprises Group on Tuesday announced that it has been granted 16 new patents by the Indian Patent Office in FY25, bringing its total number of granted patents to 122. The newly granted patents are in-home appliances, green building materials, smart security solutions, and sustainable engineering systems, as per a statement.

BSE arm launches four new Factor Indices BSE’s subsidiary Asia Index on Tuesday launched four new BSE Factor Indices from BSE 500 Index Universe with the introduction of quarterly reconstitution for these factor-based indices for the first time. These Indices have a base value of 1000, and the first value date is June 20, 2005, as per an official statement.

Non-bank lender UGRO Capital on Tuesday announced its intent to raise up to ₹915 crore through a compulsory convertible debenture issue. Apart from this, the entity focused on lending to small businesses will also be raising ₹400 crore through a rights issue by issuing shares to its existing shareholders, as per an official statement. The capital raising exercise will take its overall capital adequacy to 29.4 per cent as against 19.41 per cent in March 2025, it said, adding that it will provide a significant headroom for growth.

Ola Electric Mobility Ltd Founder and Chairman & Managing Director Bhavish Aggarwal on Tuesday said the company will start deliveries of its electric motorcycle Roadster X towards the end of this week. In a post on social media platform X, Aggarwal wrote, “Roadster X deliveries starting this Friday! Excited to see customers experience our bike.” Last year in August, he had announced the company’s foray into the electric motorcycle segment with the Roadster range comprising Roadster X, Roadster, and Roadster Pro.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) is aiming to conclude the probe on Gensol Engineering and its related entities in three to five months, said a senior official on Monday. Based on the findings of the investigation, the ministry will take further steps, including assessing the need to refer the case to the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO), the official said.

The Competition Commission of India on Tuesday cleared Bajaj Group’s proposed acquisition of a 26 per cent stake each in its insurance joint ventures, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance and Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, from its partner Allianz SE for a total of Rs 24,180 crore. “The proposed combination involves acquisition of 26 per cent paid-up equity share capital of Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Ltd (BALIC) and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Ltd (BAGIC) by Bajaj Finserv Ltd (BFS), Bajaj Holdings & Investment Ltd (BHIL) and Jamnalal Sons Pvt Ltd (JSPL) from Allianz SE,” the regulator said in a release.

REC Power Development and Consultancy Ltd (RECPDCL) has incorporated Mekhali Power Transmission Limited as its wholly-owned subsidiary to set up a substation in Karnataka. RECPDCL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of state-owned REC, a non-banking finance company (NBFC) under the Ministry of Power focusing on power sector financing in India.

Gaming company Nazara Technologies on Tuesday said it has acquired Curve Digital Entertainment (CDEL), a UK-based publisher of PC and console games, for ₹247 crore. The acquisition of 100 per cent ownership in Curve Digital Entertainment (CDEL) was carried out by Nazara Technologies UK, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nazara Technologies and will be completed in 10 working days, the company said in a regulatory filing. By bringing Curve Games into its portfolio, Nazara gains access to new platforms, genres, and key geographies, including North America, Asia Pacific, and Europe, the filing said. Meanwhile, the Competition Commission of India has approved the acquisition of majority stake/cotrol over Nazara Technologies by Axana Estates LLP, Plutus Wealth Management LLP and Junomoneta Finsol Private Limited.
